Individual & Relationship Therapy
My expertise is in providing inclusive, affirming care for queer, neurodivergent, and BIPOC folks grappling with OCD/anxiety, trauma, and relational issues, though I have experience working with a broad range of concerns and communities. I also offer ketamine and psychedelic therapy for those who are interested. If you’re looking for support in one or more of these areas, please don’t hesitate to book a free consultation!
Obsessive-Compulsive and Related Disorders
Do you feel tortured by intrusive thoughts? Are you tired of organizing your day around rituals and reassurance seeking? You try your best to avoid OCD triggers, but somehow your mind keeps drifting to terrifying places and you can’t seem to reason your way out of it. Using a combination of ERP, I-CBT, ACT, and other modalities as needed, we can begin to unpack the anxiety at a pace that feels safe and supportive and ultimately gives you the freedom and ease you’ve been craving.
Anxiety
Do you worry about nearly everything? Feel exhausted by your anxiety but struggle to relax or sleep through the night? Maybe you’re craving connection but feel terrified of embarrassment. When anxiety is in the driver’s seat, everything can feel like a threat, leaving you physically and psychologically drained. Together we can sift through the internal noise and find new ways to move through the world with more peace, agency, and flexibility. You deserve a life that isn’t dominated by intrusive thoughts, shame, and self-doubt.
PTSD & Complex Trauma
Whether it’s a single incident event or more ongoing abuse and neglect, trauma can have a profound impact on a person’s mind, body, and relationships. Maybe you’re constantly on edge, waiting for the other shoe to drop or struggling with symptoms of dissociation and numbness. You might find that it’s hard to trust people, or that you’re always fighting off reminders of the past. In addition to talk therapy, I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), somatic therapy, and ‘parts work’, all of which support deeper healing from the impacts of traumatic stress.
Relationship and Group Therapy
Connection and community are essential for our survival and mental wellness. Unfortunately, many of us have early attachment wounds that show up in the form of interpersonal friction and relational patterns that can be difficult to shake. I offer relationship therapy for you and the important humans in your life (romantic partners, friends, creative partners, etc.) to help rewire these patterns. I typically have at least one ongoing therapy group- at the moment, I’m running a support group for therapists with OCD.
